Currently lives on a sailboat in Florida while learning to sail the thing

Previously lived out of van for six months while crisscrossing the country with her partner and two cats

Immigrated from Poland in 1995 at the age of seven without knowing a word of English

Gave the salutatorian speech at the Colonia High School Class of 2006 graduation, which made her the most popular kid in school on the last day of school ever

Fenced saber at a national level for 10 years against girls who became Olympians

Was raised in New Jersey, schooled in Boston, grew into an adult in Northwest Arkansas

Planned to leave Arkansas after three years, but ended up staying almost 10 instead

Discovered mountain bikes at the age of 25, which put her on a path to living out of a van, which put her on a path to living on a boat
